Welcome to the 2nd Year
Kalbarri Smokin’ Hot Cook Off!!
The challenge is a low & slow, smoked meat or beef jerky/biltong cooking contest for the smoking enthusiast who wants to prove they have what it takes to be the best in our local Kalbarri competition.
The event will consist of teams of one to four cooks, cooking any cut of Beef, Pork, Lamb, Chicken, Kangaroo or Fish.
This year you may cook from HOME OR WORK PLACE. You will be required to upload videos of your set up and during the cooking process. You will need to supply all equipment, utensils, food/meat for the event.
You may use any equipment you like.
Equipment and meat inspection will be done via video upload.
Start Cooking @ any point.
Finish Cooking @ 5pm Saturday
Judging and Presentations Held 6pm at the main stage
You or someone from your team must present the tasty morsels to be included in the Comp
The Jerky/Biltong Category will be run the same
You may enter both sections
Your perfectly smoked or dried meat will be judged by a group of carefully selected locals & sponsors.
Who will be judging the Texture, Taste, Appearance & Skills of your meat & the skills you or your team have shown.
